I specialise in taking your favourite photo/s and transforming them into a work of art to be hung prominently in your home, boardroom, etc. and while I do primarily paint portraits in oils, I also provide print options.

This initially began as a service for my portrait clients who wanted to be able to have prints of their oil portrait for family members, etc. I now provide this service through my website to anyone.

 

I am not always thankful of modern technology, but as a portrait artist, the camera has been a wonderful tool.

In times past, the subject of a portrait would have to endure hours of "holding a pose", sometimes for a number of sessions, in order to have their portrait painted. Now the camera can capture the pose and allow the artist to work without being concerned if the subject is comfortable or not and the subject does not have to endure the torture of "sitting" for lengthy periods.

Elements of a photo (or photos) can be altered to enhance the portrayal of the subjects, however they may also need some work to prepare for a print.
